This design is a modified version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:46350, tailored for i3 x-carriages and extruders that utilize the typical 30mm hole size. To install, begin by printing the part. Then, detach your current extruder. Replace the M3 bolts securing the extruder with longer 50mm ones. Attach the fan mount to the front of the extruder and reattach it. Secure fans using M3x20mm screws and wire them for 12v power from your controller. Finally, configure your slicer to utilize the new fans for cooling.
