Dual fan duct for FlashForge Adventurer 3
thingiverse
I'm not impressed with the single fan duct on the Adventurer 3 - it's pretty rubbish. I designed a dual fan duct that splits the flow so both sides of a print get cooled. The results speak for themselves. In the overhang tests, the original duct is on the left, ignoring the top few layers since the model curled up so much the nozzle ran into it and knocked it over. There are two versions of this duct. One version provides excellent cooling but may impact raised edges of the bed - which raises the question of whether the normal duct does as well. The other "raised version" has been lifted around 2mm, hopefully avoiding hits to the bed's edges if you run too close. I recommend printing this duct out of ABS since it sits pretty close to the nozzle with supports from the bed only. It's already in the correct orientation for printing. If your printer accuracy is decent, this should be a direct drop-in replacement for the original. This was sliced with Cura, and I've included full profiles (as .3mf projects) for both PLA and ABS.
