Dual Extrusion Test Object Hollow Cube
thingiverse
Here's how we can spin a new and exciting cube with holes on one end and sturdy little feet on the other - perfect for testing our cutting-edge printing technology. We carefully crafted it for a recent experiment, utilizing PVA filament as our reliable support system and robust PLA structure. It performed beautifully under the printer that is my own MDFStrap setup with the innovative E3D v6 Nozzles. There are actually two exciting versions - version 1 was our original blueprint while version 2 took things to a new level. I cleverly came up with an inner core design for each of them, but feel free to omit that extra step if you're using slicing software with support printing features turned on! As a word of caution or rather encouragement: A straightforward approach to printing this unique cube would be downloading the outer model first then directing your slicer to generate supports using your printer's secondary hotend. Trust us, it will print flawlessly every time!
