Dual Extrusion Squid
cults3d
This is a simple remix of the Chill Squid (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2458154) by Fisher3D (https://www.thingiverse.com/Fisher3D) for dual extrusion. I prepared this in MP Flashprint by cutting the single design at random points and saving every other stripe together as one file. There is no specific sizing to the model. This is not a typical dual extrusion file where you can center the two models and they fit together perfect. No. But I can give the two models' placement on the bed in the slicer (I used Cura, so I don't know about other slicers): for the model called "Squid_2" I used X+3.761 Y0 Z0. For the model called "Squid_1" I used X-11.779 Y-8.12 Z0. This is probably not right, but it is pretty close. You certainly won't see any differences in the printed version with these offsets. I've attached the original file for anyone who wants it BTW. I am printing a small version of this on my heavily modified dual extrusion Anet A8 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4462713). It is a bit messy; I'll post pictures of the cleaned model very soon. Later on, I'll also print a bigger one and post pictures. Happy printing! EDITS: - Printed small version; added pictures
