Dual Extrusion Squid
thingiverse
This is a simple remix of the Chill Squid by Fisher3D for dual extrusion purposes. I prepped this in MP Flashprint by splitting the single design at random points and saving every other stripe together as one file. There's no specific sizing to the model, and it's not a typical dual extrusion file where you can center the two models so they fit together perfectly. However, I can provide the placement settings for each model in the slicer: Squid_2 is set at X+3.761 Y0 Z0, while Squid_1 is set at X-11.779 Y-8.12 Z0. These offsets are probably not exact, but they're close enough that you won't notice any differences in the printed version. I've attached the original file for anyone interested. I'm currently printing a small version of this on my heavily modified dual extrusion Anet A8. It's a bit messy at the moment, and I'll post pictures of the cleaned model soon. Later, I'll print a larger one and share those photos too. Happy printing!
