Dual Extrusion Raise3D Spooly
thingiverse
The Spooly from Raise3D is a great way to showcase new filaments. The coil section of this model uses less than 30 grams of material, even in Spiral Vase Mode, so you can easily keep some of your favorite filaments on hand for future reference. This multi-part assembly features dual extrusion printing for the holder and a separate model for the filament material. To complete the Spooly model, print two spool holder files and one coil file. The Spool Holder model must be printed in Dual Extrusion mode. You will need to print two models: [Dual_Extrusion_Spool_Holder_1.stl] and [Dual_Extrusion_Spool_Holder_2.stl]. To align these models in ideaMaker, select them both and then open the "Model" dropdown menu and choose "Align Selected Models." This will automatically position them for printing. For more information on dual printing with ideaMaker, check out the "How to: 3D Print with ideaMaker | Raise Academy" video on YouTube.
