Dual Extrusion D20
thingiverse
Inspired by Wil Wheaton's TableTop on Geek & Sundry, I searched for a dual extrusion D20 and found that it didn't exist. Hence, I decided to create one using Whosawhatsis's simplified D20 SCAD script. However, the project required two scripts to generate individual STL files, with a "big" version also available, although I recommend the regular size due to potential issues with really big prints. To print it, download d20.stl and d20 neg.stl, then use ReplicatorG's "merge .slt for DualExtrusion" function under the gcode menu with these files. After printing the gcode on your replicator, you can enjoy your dual extrusion D20. Be cautious of corners that tend to warp during the print process; print at high temperatures to ensure good adhesion. Also, be mindful of string deposits from the white extruder due to thermal expansion between printing numbers, as I learned during my few attempts before achieving a satisfactory result. Unfortunately, printed dice won't be correctly weighted, but they should work fine except for any corners that may peel off the platform.
With this file you will be able to print Dual Extrusion D20 with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Dual Extrusion D20.
