To trial my dual extruder conversion on the Airwolf 3DXL, I printed 12mm x 12mm x 2mm tiles in sequential order to showcase progress. Learning from the process, I discovered that un-checking retract only when crossing perimeters is crucial. Although my secondary extruder needs improvement, it's hindered by a stripped filament and an incorrect feed rate. To resolve this, I am attempting to update Repetier Firmware for offset recognition but currently using slic3r as a temporary solution. Additionally, I plan to adjust the 2nd extruder feed rate in firmware, as my homemade hobbed bolt may be off.
