This is an improved version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:533814, where I've cut off the left lower corner at an angle, requiring you to determine part orientation after removing it from the build plate. It's essential that you either measure errors with the print still on the build plate or print with a raft and remove while the print is still attached to the raft - my preferred method. Using this approach allows me to achieve alignment accuracy within 50 um on repeated prints. Advice: 1) Print at high resolution, scaling up the z-axis to 2mm for enhanced accuracy in offset measurements. 2) When nearing precision, switch to a feeler gauge instead of calipers for more precise readings. 3) If using Raise3d slicer, print with the wipewall feature enabled - this allows colors to be printed directly on top of each other, providing a quick estimate of offset. Design Process: The STL file was imported into Blender, modified, exported, and inspected for manifold integrity in Imagemaker software by Raise3d.
