Dual Extruder Chimera Head hot swap for Hypercube NGEN

Dual Extruder Chimera Head hot swap for Hypercube NGEN

thingiverse

This is an optional accessory designed for use with the Hypercube EVO NGEN from Nedalive. It enables the printer's dual extruder chimera, allowing for simultaneous printing of dual color and dual material objects. Designs have already been tested, but this remains a preliminary version. Future improvements will include modifying the design to add a fan for the printed part and enhanced cooling within the head itself. Use only ABS or similar materials with a glass transition temperature of 100 degrees or higher, as the cooling component may reach extremely high temperatures during heavy use (printing ABS at 250 degrees with both heads active). I recorded temperatures ranging from 60-70 degrees on the cooling component under these conditions. Offset settings are as follows: T0: X=0.00 Y=0.00 Z=0.00 T1: X=18.00 Y=0.00 Z=Dependent on your machine's configuration BL Touch: X=9.00 Y=72.5 Z=Variable, requiring adjustment specific to your machine. If there is interest, I will create a concise guide detailing how to reconfigure Simplify 3D, Octoprint, and Klipper to facilitate tool changes. Enjoy using this accessory with your Hypercube EVO NGEN!
