Dual cylinder Air Engine
thingiverse
This fully 3D printed Steam engine model is designed to be operated with compressed air. It is tested at pressures of up to 80 PSI spinning at 1300 RPM and powerful enough to generate electricity with external generator. This model is one of our best designs and can be operated by human breadth. All the parts can be 3D printed without need for additional hardware. Although for longer life it is recommended using two bearings available from amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FF51L9Q/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=joyofwoodhobb-20&linkId=4237816b9f0aa5e7eeee60d1f180f7e8&language=en_US) and the stand that supports them. Without bearings the flywheel axles will melt if operating with compressed air. Optionally you can add M5 screw 16 mm to the base for mounting. Those screws are available in https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FF51L9Q/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=joyofwoodhobb-20&linkId=4237816b9f0aa5e7eeee60d1f180f7e8&language=en_US hardware kit from amazon. The Flywheel has openings for M8 metal nuts as weights, see (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FF51L9Q/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=joyofwoodhobb-20&linkId=4237816b9f0aa5e7eeee60d1f180f7e8&language=en_US) Also you can add 1/8" NPT quick connects for air supply (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FF51L9Q/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=joyofwoodhobb-20&linkId=4237816b9f0aa5e7eeee60d1f180f7e8&language=en_US) that is using 6 mm polyurethane tubing (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FF51L9Q/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=joyofwoodhobb-20&linkId=4237816b9f0aa5e7eeee60d1f180f7e8&language=en_US) for air supply
