Remix of the awesome remix by @Schnabulation I love this hotend cover, but never really got on with the tapping into the print. Considering this moves at some speed whilst printing. So I remixed it to take M3 Heated Brass Insets for all the threads holding it together. It's a much more sturdy piece now. Rock solid when all tightened up. Also more durable when constantly removing screws etc etc. Especially useful when using Klipper as reduces any unnecessary vibrations when calibrating etc. I have also tidied up the fan duct so it's now larger and a circle so provides a tad more airflow to the hotend and a nice flat surface for printing on the front face to reduce the amount of support required. You will need: 5x - M3 x 4mm x 4mm heated inserts - https://tinyurl.com/Heated-Inserts (2 for the "hinge", 2 for the rear to mount it, 1 for the back plate.) 4x - M3 x 8mm Bolts (I used Allen Cap Head from this set that has proven really useful - https://tinyurl.com/ScrewsSet ) 2x M3 x 12mm Bolts from the above kit (For the "Hinge") 6x M3 washers - Optional but good practice I've attached the other files required to complete this set up too. Hope this is of some use. I printed in eSun ABS+ Black on my Ender 3V2. Fits perfectly on the Ender 3 V2, can't confirm if it fits on the standard Ender 3, or Ender 3 Pro as I don't have one to test it on. Please let me know in the comments and I'll update here for the benefit of others looking for a hot end cover.
