dual conduit corner
thingiverse
We're working around the lack of affordable aluminum extrusion in this size by redesigning the framework using dual pieces of 1/2" EMT electrical conduit for each leg. The inner wall needs to align exactly like the original Cristelia, so the upper bearing support shouldn't require any modifications. This is a first draft and has yet to be tested. The electrical conduit should cover up over the corner nubs. I've chosen not to include screw holes for attaching the electrical conduit. My plan is to print these parts with a dense infill and at least six shells, then drill holes through the conduit into the plastic nubs before filling them with resin to create solid mounting points.
