Dual Concentric Rotary Encoder with Push Button
thingiverse
Update 15-09-22: added a lower version. This version is 3.5 mm lower. Knobs are the same size. This is my remixed design for a Dual Concentric Rotary Encoder with Push Button based on the design by Shahada: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/dwthDbal5YY-dual-concentric-rotary-encoder-with-push-button. See his design page for more info. And thanks for sharing! It is used for making the knobs for flight-sim radio panels, where there is an outer knob to set the smaller digits, and an inner knob to set the larger digits. The changes made to this design in Tinkercad: - sides of round shapes increased from 20 to 64. - removed protrusion from gear. - gave knobs on gear an angle of 45 degrees for easier printing. - reduced tolerances to reduce wobbling of push button. Made holes a little smaller for tight fit. - for the same purpose modified the big button (reduces hole size to better guide the push pin. - changed the holes that connect to the encoder to fit a different type (round shape with cutout in the middle). - made the inside of the nut wider for easier fit. - modified plates. Removed fixation holes. Design also available for remix: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/jyTHJJ3UQHu?sharecode=3jmyBkid3pyW3GNQvCLmFS5cPX8ovO8bq2njj62-ApY
