Dual-color Ring
thingiverse
Making my first attempt at a dual extrusion wearable ring. The black and white pattern came out excellent, with half of the material glowing in the dark. It fits comfortably on my finger, but if needed, simply scale the X/Y axes while leaving the Z axis intact. Enjoy! Designed using Tinkercad. Share your results if you decide to make one. Check out my 3D printed time lapse channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3aWfSKKB-AHpMzhe9V_v3w Additional ring designs can be found on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/Bassna/collections/bassnas-ring-designs, with more to come. Instructions To begin, load both files into Makerware and center them while laying flat. This setup should result in a perfect fit. Keep in mind that this design is intended for dual extrusion 3D printing. I produced mine using 20% infill density, two shells, and a layer height of .3mm. For post-processing, I employed an Acetone Vapor Bath treatment.
