Dual Color Add Your Logo Business Card Holder The stl file is of a blank business card holder designed to allow you to add your logo in a separate color, just like the picture shows. There's a 1-1/2" x 3-7/8" area where you can add your logo. The holder is designed so that the logo surface is the last one printed and is horizontal to the build plate, making it easy to start a print of your logo in another color when the card holder is complete. Directions Load the stl file for the business card holder into your slicer and leave the orientation as is, with the surface where the logo will go horizontal to the build plate. There's a surface on the back of the card holder that's parallel to the logo surface - this is the one that should sit on the build plate. Next, center the card holder on your build plate. Print the card holder but don't remove it from the build plate once complete. Once finished, load the .stl file for your logo into your slicer and center it on the build plate. Then, offset the z-axis 40mm and the y-axis -20mm (this is subtracted from the current value). This will put your logo right in the center of the logo surface. Change your filament color, prime it, and print the logo on top of the card holder. Notes If you print the holder on a raft, remember to add that height to the z-axis offset when printing the logo. My printer needs to home before each print, so I printed on glass and made sure the front corner was square to the build plate before starting. Between prints, I removed the glass with the print, let it home, then paused the printer and put the glass back in place, ensuring it was square with the corner of the build plate.
