Dual Cim Electronic Mounts

The Fernbank L.I.N.K.S. team 4468 has devised an efficient method to install electronics on dual CIM gearboxes, featuring hex holes for snugly fitting #8 nuts into the plastic, allowing for quick removal and reattachment of components. Models in their setup include one holding the digital side car, another housing the bridge and power converter, and a final one accommodating two Victors for drive motors. Post 3D printing, insert a #8 bolt through one hole with its head on top, followed by a #8 nut that is tightened until it reaches maximum torque; this will result in a snug fit. At the point of no further tightening, unscrew the #8 bolt, ensuring the nut stays lodged in the plastic. Repeat for all holes to facilitate easy attachment of components. The side holes serve for zip-tying the mount onto motors, completing the process.
