After months of experimenting with various can handles, I finally identified a common flaw - all of them are designed for single-handed use, limiting accessibility. The turning point came when I struggled to grasp my beer with my left hand while navigating a whirlpool. This frustrating experience sparked the idea to create a more versatile handle. Building on the original design, I modified it to suit my needs without reinventing the wheel. The result is a handle that fits seamlessly onto 500mL cans, providing a snug fit at 100% scale with minimal wiggle room. To ensure ease of use, I recommend printing this design using PETG, which makes the part more flexible and easier to attach to the can. PLA also works well, although it may require slightly more force to snap the handle into place. Initially, I considered designing the parts to snap fit at the bottom for a secure hold. However, this approach would have added complexity to the printing process, as the overhanging sections would be difficult to print accurately.
