After switching to an E3DV6 extruder (probably a clone given the price!), I decided to create a custom model and try out FreeCad at the same time! I drew inspiration from existing supports found all over the place, but I wanted one thing above all: a model that was: - able to support a chain, - capable of having ventilation ducts for future additions, - as compact as possible (65mm being the maximum I allowed myself). The model is fully operational: I just tested it! A few adjustments left to find with regard to cutting and it should be perfect! Here are the ready-to-print models, along with the FreeCad models if you feel like it! The printing consists of 3 pieces: - The support that fits perfectly with Geetech Pro C grills, - The "cover" for fixing the two Bowden, - A new X Stop that allows arriving just at the edge of the plate glass. The images are from a previous version, but there is little difference: I have removed certain parts to speed up printing. Edit: 08/04/2017: After impression tests, I managed to adjust the offset between the two heads. On my equipment, it makes exactly 30.5mm. The tests are conclusive!
