Dual Banana Plug

# Dual Banana Plugs The dual connector has enough space to fit 14-16 AWG wire depending on the thickness of the insulation. ## Regular plug with reverse polarity protection I added 2 LEDs to show if it is plugged in the correct way. For low currents (2-3A/up to 28V) I put a reverse current protection inside using a AO3400 mosfet. ## USB plug with reverse polarity and overvoltage protection The second plug is for USB. To use it as a charger port connect 2-3MOhm resistors from GND to D-, VCC to D+ and connect D+ and D- directly. This should provide up to 2.4A charging current. It also uses the same reverse polarity protection. To prevent accidental overvoltage I added a crow bar circuit and a fuse, which limits the voltage to ~5.6-5.8V before the fuse blows. ## Protection Schematics for the reverse polarity and overvoltage protection are attached. ## Tinkercad source https://www.tinkercad.com/things/9o4Jzjm8Ccb
