dual action hidden blade with tab
thingiverse
this isn't a normal dual action hidden blade with a wheel this uses a tab mechanism you build the hidden blade like normal then attach string I used some 20 pound fishing line and attach it to the ring so when you pull it should eject the blade then when the tab is pushed back the blade should retract. (I took a paper clip and bent it to make the hooks glued them in with some original gorilla glue to keep them in strong) (print the small parts with 100% infill and the lowest layer height possible and add supports to the kickers the kickers are the parts that fling the blade forward and retract it. I used a number 14 rubber band to get it to launch in and out efficiently) (the slots in the lock tabs are for rubber bands you cut a rubber band then fold it in half and make a spring mechanism so they can always be flicking out you can also use a pen spring. once completed strap the hidden blade upside down so the tab is facing your palm and then tie your string and it should work I was inspired to make this by the dual action ones on ebay I didn't want to buy one so I designed this.
