Dual 60mm fan side mount - (with back-plate & front cover)
thingiverse
I really loved Oscar's design, but the fan on the right side kept getting tangled up in the cables for the X axis. So, I redesigned the back to have a smooth plate and used some crazy glue to secure it firmly in place. Then I had some small magnetic balls lying around (you can probably find them online - mine just showed up out of nowhere) and created a front cover that utilized the screws as magnets. As it turns out, one dual fan serves as intake and the other dual fan acts as exhaust. This works beautifully for cooling down the bed after a print to speed up production time, and it also works wonders when using NinjaFlex. The variable resistor I used is a 10K resistor (you could use a smaller ohm variable resistor if you prefer) just like Oscar's design, but I wanted the knob on the outside so I could adjust it while printing. For power, I tapped into the 12V power supply on the back (the same spot where I get power for my E3D hotend fan). Anyway, it works amazingly well - thanks, Oscar!
