Dual 18650 Battery Holder
thingiverse
Battery holder for 2 x 18650s in Parallel and 5V Micro USB 1A 18650 Lithium Battery Charging Board. Designed to mount on a surface with a screw, providing some weather resistance. Pictures show the initial print, which experienced warping and shrinkage issues due to being too tight. The design has been updated to be thicker on the outside and looser fitting for improved results. According to my understanding, charging 18650s in parallel is safe if they have always been used this way since new. In my case, these batteries came from a laptop battery pack and were already set up this way. Searching online reveals many listings on eBay for similar boards. Although the link I had is no longer valid, searching should yield results. Print Settings: Printer: Flash Forge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: Secure the charging board in place using a glue gun for a 3D printing pen. The first version of this design was too tight, and has been adjusted to provide a looser fit. A small hole can be drilled below where the inside and outside pieces meet, allowing for a peg to be inserted if you need to take it apart again.
