DTV Shredder Left Chassis Drive Shaft Bearing Cover

This is a vital bearing protector for the DTV Shredder drive shaft bearing on the left side which is fully exposed to the elements and cannot be replaced without completely disassembling the vehicle. Upon installation, I noticed a small crack in the rubber seal of the bearing, making it the perfect time to replace it. This new cover does an excellent job of safeguarding a still intact bearing and significantly extending its lifespan without requiring a stainless steel replacement (which was a measure BPG took at some point, though I'm not sure if this particular bearing was also part of that change). I printed this in ABS plastic and attempted to acetone-glue thin 0.1mm washers to the surface but they refused to stick for long, resulting in the uneven appearance you see today. After wiping it with an acetone-soaked cloth, I recommend adding those washers (20x28x0.1mm) to reduce friction from the bearing circlip on the inside and the brake disk hub which moves on the outside. That's why I didn't include an inner stop; I wanted the depth position of the cover to be as flexible as possible, so pay close attention while installing that there isn't too much tension from the circlip on the inner diameter by pushing the cover too far onto the drive shaft. I had to sand down the inside surface a bit due to my printer configuration being slightly off; with 57mm diameter, the design should fit perfectly. Installation is relatively straightforward, involving these steps: 1. Loosen chain tension 2. Remove chain 3. Remove chain guide 4. Remove sprocket circlip and sprocket 5. Remove brake caliper 6. Remove brake disk 7. Handle the wedge with care 8. Remove brake bracket 9. Install 0.1mm inner washer 10. Fill cover with grease, install 11. Install 0.1mm outer washer 12. Re-assemble from step 8 in reverse order
