Khatm Al Melaha is a significant archaeological site located near Kalba on the coast of the Oman Sea in Sharjah, UAE. It boasts one of the largest rock art collections in the UAE. The site also features stone houses, a shell midden, stone tombs, and other notable structures that indicate human occupation from the early Holocene to the 19th century. A total of 175 stones with petroglyphs were documented, and nearly 400 distinct motifs were identified. Each rock with a glyph was assigned an ID number and GPS coordinate for precise documentation. In just one day, over 25,455 terrestrial photographs, 5,244 drone photographs, 44 drone videos, and 182 precise GPS points (accurate to +/- 1cm) were captured. Reality Capture techniques were employed, showcasing intricate details in Substance Painter.
