"The arched niche, known as an arcosolium, features two burials situated within a corridor of the Catacombs of San Gennaro's upper level in Naples. The Catacombs themselves served as burial grounds from the 2nd century AD to the Middle Ages. A fragile conservation status affects the paintings: a red-yellow frame system partitions the surface into geometric patterns, where various objects are placed. Presently, only red flowers and dark structures with mixed compositions remain recognizable. The results come from analyzing ### photographs and # laser scans. This collaborative project was undertaken by GDH, the Zamani Project, Università degli Studi di Napoli 'L'Orientale', and the Catacombe di Napoli Administration. Processed using Reality Capture software, the descriptions were provided by Senior Professor Dr. Dieter Korol of Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. The project is designated as # Fresco 22b."
