DSO112A Module for the Modular Breadboard Kit V2

thingiverse

This is a module designed to hold a DSO112a, along with a DC-DC buck converter and a compartment for storing the DSO leads. It's intended to work seamlessly with my "Breadboard Kit V2", which was created to fit into a Stanley 014725R case. Note that this module is just one part of the large (red) unit in the photo, while the rest of the components can be found within my "Breadboard Kit V2" linked below. There are two versions of this module: left and right side. This difference stems from the design of the breadboard kit it's intended to work with. The larger modules like this one have a left or right side orientation, whereas the smaller modules they work with can be used on either side. For more information on the Breadboard Kit and the other modules required to complete it, please check out the link below: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3416074 I'd like to extend my gratitude to Mathgirl for sharing her amazing print-in-place hinge design, which I utilized in the DSO module door. You can find more details about this design here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:436737 MathGirl's Hinge Design (used by the DSO112A module) is licensed under the Creative Commons - Attribution - Non-Commercial - Share Alike license. If you decide to remix the DSO112A module or utilize the hinge design, please make sure to attribute Mathgirl accordingly. I must note that I'm not an electronics expert; I'm simply a hobbyist attempting to organize my projects. The steps and diagrams provided here are based on how I assembled my kit, and there may be a more efficient way to do it. Please use your own judgment when working with these components. Additionally, after the initial design, I added fuses to protect the inputs for the DC-DC converters as depicted in the diagrams. However, please keep in mind that I didn't include any reverse protection or similar features for any of the components. If you decide to make this module, please be aware of the limitations of the components being used and use your own judgment when deciding where additional protection like fuses, PTCs, or other safety measures are necessary.
