DSLR Shoulder Rig

This parts-pack is still in development. Files may change unexpectedly. You'll need these components for a basic setup: Two clamp_2level pieces hold secondary rods to primary ones. Multiple clamp_basic units form the foundation of this design, with every other part based on it. clamp_camerapad (2x) secures the camera pad to secondary aluminium rods. The main clamps are clamp_ring (2x), which hold the secondary, tertiary, quaternary, and quinary rods in place. Since it's a large component, I've created a version that can be cut in half (clamp_ring_half.stl). One mount_camerapad is used for attaching the camera to the clamp_camerapad. One mount_followfocus secures the motor for focus control. A tensioner_followfocus tightens the drivebelt. You'll need three-meter long, 15mm wide aluminium rods and several M6 hex nuts and bolts. Image description: (rods.png) Rods: Red primary rods are 510mm long. They're used to mount the shoulder pad (not designed yet). Green secondary rods measure 250mm in length. They support the camera pad. Blue tertiary rods, which are 190mm long, aren't needed at this stage of design. Yellow quaternary rods, also 190mm long, hold the followfocus motor and tensioner. White quinary rods, measuring 220mm in length, attach a shotgun mic using clamp_basic. Clamps: Light Grey double-level clamps are represented by clamp_2level.stl. Black ring-shaped clamps are depicted by clamp_ring.stl.
