This is a mount to attach an astronomy dovetail to a DSLR hotshoe. Heated brass inserts are recommended for this build. Hardware for build: Heated Brass Insert (Qty 3) https://www.mcmaster.com/94180A353/ M4 Plastic Screw (Qty 3) https://www.mcmaster.com/93640A129/ I have steel screws in the pictures but plastic will be softer on your gear. Heated brass inserts can be inserted with a soldering iron. https://markforged.com/resources/blog/heat-set-inserts Let me know if you find an issue! This is a work in progress. Be careful not to tighten too much, it could damage the dovetail or camera. -Justin
