DSLR GoPro Style Mount

DSLR GoPro Style Mount

I thought of making a mount for a GoPro with a hole that lets the screw pass through and uses a bolt on the other end to keep it in place. However, since there are many GoPro attachments and mounts out there, I figured why not make a mount for a DSLR camera (or anything with the same connecting screw) that allows me to use any of the available GoPro mounts or holders! The file for this version is titled "DSLR GoPro Style Mount 2". UPDATE 9/20/16: I added new files ending in "_updated" that have a few edits. They feature a larger chamfer on the hole to match the angle of the screws, allowing for better countersinking. Plus, the first file now includes the hex slot to fit and hold the hex nut for the GoPro mount. UPDATE 9/21/16: I printed out the second file to attach my DSLR to a GoPro mount and realized I miscalculated how thick to make the base. When I tried printing it and attaching the camera, the screw was too long. Therefore, I created a spacer so you can print it without worrying about getting a washer that fits properly.
