DSLR Baseplate and Grip (Ergonomic Version)

DSLR Baseplate and Grip (Ergo Version). Not a remix as such but a redesign with a stronger baseplate (without the hassle of a metal bar) and an ergonomic handle. This gives you a better balance when there's a flash on the camera (especially a heavier one or on an extended plate on the hot shoe) and helps to keep the camera stable and level when shooting video.Designed for the Nikon D500 but should fit most (D)SLRs - just be aware of the location of the battery door.Although very strong (with PETG) I don't guarantee the safety of your equipment if not used with care (ie, don't swing the camera round by the handle - always use both hands).  ABS would be even stronger of course.HARDWARE REQUIRED:1 x 120mm M8 threaded rod1 x M8 locknut1 x M8 nut1 x ½" UNC nutStandard ½" UNC camera screw (838 style)Rubber cut from a bicycle inner tubeOptional circlip for the 1/" UNC screwThe M8 locknut screws onto the threaded bar end and the plain M8 nut is inserted into the handle while printing (gcode/3mf file codes pause at the correct layer). The ½" UNC nut is inserted into the baseplate and provide lateral adjustment to balance the camera on a tripod/slider/etc.Note that the ½" UNC screw will hold in place in the baseplate without the circlip once screwed in if you use the 838 standard UNC screw (the shaft is narrower than the threads). Regards, Paul.
