I designed a custom battery pack to ensure continuous power for my Sony DSC-H300 camera by linking two sets of 16850 batteries together. This allows me to easily swap out depleted batteries while others continue powering the device. Initially, I had no means to connect an external power source to this camera or access an outside power supply. The Sony DSC-H300 is a reliable camera, but its battery life was severely limited due to its fixed design and short 25-minute video recording time before draining. This made it impractical for YouTube videos, exploration, weddings, and other applications that require extended use. My custom solution seamlessly integrates with the existing battery pack, requiring only a simple connection of two wires into the filler cores. The camera's built-in trap securely holds these wires in place without necessitating any modifications to the device itself. The remaining two battery cavities can remain unused, providing a convenient and efficient way to recharge or replace batteries as needed.
