DS4 Rack
thingiverse
This rack is designed to securely hold four DualShock 4 controllers for PlayStation 4. The base is a distinct unit allowing for easy 3D printing. Version 1 can be printed flat on its side within a 200mm x 200mm build platform. Version 2 eliminates an issue where the hook had a tendency to press the PS button during placement or removal. The "hook" was designed to fit snugly around the DS4 frame, including the joysticks. The entire part can be printed in one piece, but I recommend using the split version to minimize support material and make any potential failed prints less frustrating. Two halves can be connected by applying adhesive, heating the sides and fusing them together, or using ethyl acetate to dissolve the sides and fuse them together. All pieces were designed using SolidWorks 2017. Each STL file has been thoroughly checked in Meshmixer for holes. I have included project files (SLDPRT) if anyone would like to experiment with them. If you don't have SolidWorks, you can open them in Fusion360 without any issues.
