DS212 oscilloscope case
myminifactory
Hi everyone! I needed a straightforward case for my DS212, so why not share the results with you all? When slicing, I used 0.1mm horizontal expansion in Cura, which gave me a somewhat loose fit and allowed me to add some fuzzy tape for makeshift shock absorption. Printers and slicer programs differ, so some tolerance adjustments might be necessary, particularly for the lid to stay put. I applied a couple of tiny drops of acetone to permanently secure the lid. But not too much - just a dab will do! It's easy enough to open when needed. Oscilloscope probe stress relief holes may require some filing to achieve a perfectly snug fit and function properly. I've added a simple box to shield the LCD in the toolbox. Feel free to let me know if anyone needs any dimensions tweaked.
