DS Lite Back housing
thingiverse
I needed this for a project I was working on. I combined two different designs I found, the DS Lite Extended Battery cover by makho and DS Lite Base by facelesstech on Printables (with some heavy modifications to the latter). This was created to be able to install a rear facing Nintendo Switch speaker and a NDSTV 3.45 TV out board by Rhotronix in a GameBoy Macro without as much warping as an original shell while still being comfortable to play. This is best used with one of makho's battery covers as the battery cover. It will allow you to route the wifi antenna into the battery compartment and still have enough room to close it. I also included a hole near the headphone jack for the microphone to be installed behind. Other notes: I need to fix the areas near the L and R buttons. There is not enough material to prevent (mostly the L button) from hinging up and away from the shell. It won't fall out, just something to be aware of. I have not been able to test print this exact model yet but have printed and installed an older model (pictured). I'll update this if I find any other issues. Let me know of any issues you find as well. Edit 8/11/22: Realized my original uploaded model had the microphone hole on the wrong side of the model. Changed that and added Slot 2 notch to accept certain flash carts and dust covers. Uploaded new model.
