DRZ400 Engine Stand Attachments
thingiverse
I needed something more robust than blocks of wood to support my engine while I worked on it, so I came up with this alternative. These supports are designed to be tall enough to accommodate the crankshaft, flywheel installation, and other essential tasks without limiting the ability to flip the engine over in any direction. I've included the original files for anyone who wants to modify them to make them shorter if necessary - the total length isn't critical here. The printable peg is intended to fit into the swingarm mounting spot, providing balance to the engine case when it's positioned on the stator side. One of the stator covers was initially designed to work with aluminum square tube, but it also works perfectly well with the peg.
