I am using a vacuum attachment specifically designed for 3 3/4 x 2 5/8 x 1 inch sanding sponges. The hose attachment, on the other hand, is intended for use with a 1.5 inch hose. I actually pair it with my Rockler hose featuring a swivel end, which makes maneuverability much simpler.
