Drywall Patch Kit
thingiverse
I needed to patch a small hole in my wall. Below is the link to the Tinkercad file so you can adjust the size as desired. I made the plug a bit thinner than the actual drywall so that I could putty over it. I also "roughed up" the top of it just a bit with some sand paper before I glued it to the tab. This way the putty would adhere better. To use this: - you first tie a couple of strings around the tab (there are two sets of notches that should accommodate two strings. - Put a bit of glue on the face of each tab (where the five grippy-things are) and then insert it into the drywall hole. Use the strings to pull the tabs tight against the inside of the drywall. __I ended up filing off the grippy-things__ because I couldn't pull hard enough to get those things to pierce the drywall. I left them in the design just in case you found them useful. - Let the glue dry - Apply a bit of super-glue to the bottom of the plug and adhere it to the tab - Let it all dry - Putty/Mud over it all, sand, paint Tinkercad project: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/0qX8K8btFK9
