This allows you to connect your ShopVac with standard 2.5-inch hose directly to your typical US 4-inch Dryer Vent. The interior diameter of the ShopVac hose end is 2.3 inches, making it a perfect fit for my Rigid vacuum and suitable for any other 2.5-inch hose. The vent end measures 4.2 inches and smoothly tapers down to 4.0 inches for a precise fit. A small hole, precisely 0.43 inches in diameter, allows the cleaning brush to pass through seamlessly, matching perfectly with the brush I purchased at my local hardware store - you can also find it on Amazon.
