Dryer Vent to 120MM FAN
thingiverse
I'm actually quite stunned that this contraption doesn't already exist! I was desperately searching for a way to attach a fan to a dryer vent in order to ventilate my shed effectively. I had intended to purchase something, considering it should be relatively inexpensive, but no such luck! Instead, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create it myself. Being a "maker" comes with its perks, after all! Now, I'm thrilled with the results of having mounted my fan in place. If you'd like, you can even extend it further by attaching ducts. Here's what worked for me: mounting a 120MM fan to a 100MM dryer vent. For securing it in place, I opted for caulk, using clear weatherproof sealant. To attach the fan, I pilot-drilled some holes into the print and then lined them with foam padding to prevent any unwanted critters from infiltrating!
