I discovered that my dryer vent flap cover had warped severely, rendering it unable to shut completely and allowing cold air, insects, rodents, and other unwanted creatures to enter freely. I promptly created a replacement model and was thrilled with the result - good as new. The maximum temperature for clothes dryers is approximately at the onset of the glass transition temperature for PETG, so it should withstand the heat without issue. However, if excessive heat proves to be a problem, printing in ABS might be a better option.
