To fix our new dryer's thin screen issue, visit your local hardware store for a 1/2" ID and 5/8" OD plastic hose, 1-foot long. Print both adapter and nut designs, which require no support material. The large opening and lofted "fingers" on the nut are designed to compress the hose. Insert the hose end through the nut and into the adapter until it's flush with the interior wall. Future improvements could include a larger adapter entry and thicker fingers.
