Replacement door latch for a Maytag dryer, printed in clear PETG without supports needed. This one works as well with PLA, which holds just fine. The original door latch was always bending out of shape and falling from its socket. A replacement plastic latch similar to this model was bought, but the fit wasn't good - not even when specially made for this dryer, it didn't extend far enough for the latch to latch properly. It was redesigned as a result. Flipping the springy sides 90 degrees made them printable and adjusting the pin length and width got a good latch. The fourth model or so fitted well enough but was a bit wiggly and too thin at the bottom, breaking after three months. This is the fifth iteration and holds up very well so far. The tapered side makes it snug and feels stronger.
