If you like my model(s), please visit this page https://www.facebook.com/neorisKir/ and give it a thumbs up! You'll help me more than giving a tip. Thanks in advance! You need a pipe with a diameter of 32.5 - 33mm x 400mm. Cut it to a length of approximately 330mm. Drill holes for the bar holders at a height of about 150mm from the bottom of the Samla. Make sure spools won't touch the bottom before drilling. For two bar holders, you'll need four M4x6 (or 8) screws and four M4 nuts. The fitting is designed for a 7mm hole in the box, but drill a 6.5mm hole and screw it naturally. This will ensure it sits properly. Sorry for the modeling mistake - the screw is left-handed. To tighten it, rotate anti-clockwise. You can use this as a joke on your friend or sibling! "I'm stuck trying to figure out why it won't screw in? Is it just screwed up?" Each spool spacer requires two M4x6 screws and two M4 nuts. This keeps any spool within its desired limits. Keep in mind that the overall design isn't ideal, and a spool can be too heavy if it's over 500g to rotate freely on a 32mm pipe. I've printed spool spacers with PLA without issues. Any details can be printed with PLA. Update: If you're printing spacers with PLA, make sure to use a good brim and that the edge doesn't start to warp up! This means it's failed (in case of this model). I broke one part of a spacer by overtightening it - it had a warped side. I printed two bearings with PETG, but the inner diameter of 32.5mm was too tight. Spent an hour filing and trying to put it on! So measure your pipe carefully and make sure the inner diameter of the bearing is just a bit more than this size. 32.8-33.0 will be fine if your pipe is 32.5. Plastic bearings are a good solution, I see. Use a good PTFE (or PU) tube for the fitting(s) to provide better feeding to your extruder. Seal it with gas sealing tape. You can even use 4x3mm (or 4x2) tubes and make the outer diameter bigger with sealing tape. A hint: if you don't have enough silica balls, use very dry pieces of bread or old rock-hard cookies that don't contain oil or any contaminants. Make sure they're not infected by fungus. Check on them often. As soon as they become softer, dry them out and use again. It's not the best deal, but better than nothing!
