Drybox PVC tube holder
thingiverse
I needed a way to hang spools in my own drybox, but I couldn't find anything with an easy-to-use design where I could quickly "pop" the tube to add or change a spool. So, like anyone would do when faced with this problem, I took matters into my own hands and designed something myself. The new holder is incredibly straightforward, and its STL file is optimized for use with a 40mm tube. Two holes are strategically placed to allow for secure attachment using screws - if you prefer that option, that is. Alternatively, you can also attach the holder using a hot glue gun. I created this PVC holder in Onshape, and it's available to copy or modify if you need to make any adjustments. The design makes use of two variables: one for the tube diameter and another for the screws size, giving you the flexibility to customize it according to your specific needs.
