Drybox parts for 1/4" NPT to 6mm tubing
thingiverse
When I purchased my push connectors, I bought them specifically for pneumatics and vacuum projects, so I ended up buying numerous 1/4" NPT to 6mm push connectors. (http://a.co/bRYwcVv) It turns out that finding objects with 1/4" NPT holes is an enormous challenge, and even more difficult to model them in freecad or F360. This design is for a drybox that accommodates these connectors, and I went all out, incorporating semicaptive nut holders, a threaded cap that fits over the push connector for storage, and a 12mm ID hole for inserting sponges and rubber seals. **NOTE:** In the end, I simply created a tapered hole and left it untapped, and used plenty of grunting and cursing to get the connector in. It always tips slightly, but there is enough slack in the design that the cap still fits and the connector still seals. I recommend properly tapping the hole if you want a non-wonky connector. Additionally, the hygrometer mount can be found elsewhere; it's not included here.
