Using a wide trimmer line spool in a dry box calls for a larger opening to reduce the filament angle at the spool ends. To attach a flip bottom plate with a small taper against the container's exterior, first trace and cut out a hole. Mount this using 4 mm screws with nuts on the outside, secured with gasket material of choice.
