Dryad Costume Horns Small

Need a Renaissance faire or Halloween costume accessory? I'm working on lightweight horns! This pair of horns is designed to resemble antlers with a unique tree branch aesthetic. Simple yet elegant, this version is small, making it perfect for kids. The model is hollow with thick walls to ensure they're light yet sturdy. You can easily scale up the design or wait for my next upload, which will feature a larger size without increased weight due to thicker walls. For best results, add some external support and a lower bend; internal support and top support are not necessary. Some printers might be able to print without supports, but it may result in slight imperfections. This project is part of my Renaissance faire endeavor. I recently purchased horns at the faire, but they were poorly made, heavy, and overpriced. Although they shone and had a horn-like shape, that was about it – every vendor selling horns had the same cheaply designed products! My allergies cause sinus pressure headaches and tender heads, so I aimed to create lightweight horns that would enhance my appearance without causing discomfort. Next up: Wraith horns! Print two, as they're identical when flipped. I used PLA at 210 degrees Celsius with a .175 layer height, a speed of 60mm/s on my Monoprice Mini Select printer, and the Bronze Metallic color from Push Plastics – the result is stunning!
