Traditional dry stone wall.This model has a natural look because it contains 170 individual rocks which pack together to form a self-standing, stable structure under the influence of simulated gravity. The front face of each rock was modelled on the shape of a real rock and the rock textures are photos of real rock textures.You can take the wall apart rock by rock or run a physics simulation to create your own version of an old dry stone wall. The high poly version has a total of 44K triangular faces and the low poly version has 5K faces.The 3ds files open OK using Blender v2.67b and the obj files open OK using MeshLab v1.3.2_64bit.The prism-shaped rocks were packed using the Rocksolver optimisation software application to form a single-skin wall then two walls were placed parallel and leaning in on each other to simulate what happens with a real dry stone wall.
