The Dry Box Spool Holder by bradm10000 is a very nice solution and much better than the rollers that I was using before. Especially as more and more manufacturers are using carboard spools that don't always roll perfectly. Full credit to bradm10000

The challenge with this system is placing the mounts on the sides of the container evenly and identically.

This tool will help consistently place the mounts at the correct location on both sides of the storage container.

Find the center of the dry box, use tool as a straight edge to mark the rim of the container with a marker on both sides.

I used Scotch brand double-sided poster tape to make the end of the tool sticky. You could also add a layer of masking tape to the edges to provide a friction fit with the sides of the mount.

Use your glue of choice on the back of the mounts. I am using 3M VHB (link). It seems to hold well. Insert the mounts into the tool as shown.

Align the notch of the tool with the mark that you made on the rim of the container. Press the mount to the side. Hold the mount against the container as you remove the tool.

Repeat on the other side.

This printed in about 40 minutes on 0.20mm Speed with 15% infill using eSun PLA.
